アートマイルプロジェクトは９月に自己紹介でスタートし、10月～11月にテーマの協働学習を経て、12月に日本側が先に壁画の半分を描いてパートナー校に送りました。これから海外校が壁画の完成に向けて制作に取りかかります。日本側で半分描かれた壁画を紹介します。

You can see some Japanese traditional annual events on the mural. The pattern on the background is traditional one depicting "waves". It was drawn by Showa Women's University J-S High School in Tokyo. Indonesian students in SMP Islam Tugasku will complete "The Heart" in the middle.

こちらは東京都の昭和女子大学附属昭和中学校･昭和高等学校で完成した壁画です。波の上に日本の伝統行事を表現しています。インドネシアのSMP Islam Tugaskuでは2国を波でつなげ、中央に１つのハートを完成させます。

This is a half-painted mural in Kobe University Secondary School. Its theme is "Water Management". They draw the importance of water. You can get to know, "Water is a valuable treasure in the world." The students will start painting the other half in LEGT Le Likès in France after their holiday break.

こちらの壁画は神戸大学附属中等教育学校で完成した壁画です。
テーマは"Water Management"です。水と我々神戸市民との関わり合いを描きました。フランスのLEGT Le Likèsでは１月後半から２月前半にかけて休みがあります。休み明けに壁画を制作します。

This is a half-painted mural in Tagara HS in Tokyo. Its theme: "Promote peace by knowing each other through communication in wide range". Here's one of the stories: An old lady once fell in love with a Mexican. But the war separated them. She gave her granddaughter the scarf. It was the present from the Mexican. One day, her granddaughter met a Mexican man under the cherry tree. Preparatoria Lomas Del Valle UAG in Mexico will tell you the dramatic ending.

こちらは東京都立田柄高等学校で完成した壁画です。込められたストーリーの一つを紹介。少女の祖母はかつてメキシコ男性と恋に落ちたが戦争のせいで別れます。プレゼントとしてもらったマフラーを祖母から受け継いでいます。ある日祖母が恋に落ちた同じ桜の木の下で男性に出会います。それは運命・・・

This is a half-completed mural in Aoyama Gakuin Univ. in Tokyo. Their partner is Universidad Veracruzana in Mexico. Their collaboration is the third year. They represent Japanese "Past and Present" and a big dragon. The mural is already completed in Mexico, and they had a VC to appreciate it together.

こちらの壁画は青山学院大学で完成した壁画です。パートナーのメキシコ Universidad Veracruzanaとの協働学習は3年目になります。左側から日本の過去・現在を表しています。上空の竜が印象的です。すでにメキシコで壁画は完成 し、先日テレビ会議で鑑賞しました。

This is a half-completed mural in Minami-Tsurumaki ES in Tokyo. You can see, Crane: represent auspicious in Japan. Huge earth: express Friendship. Origami, Kendama (Japanese toy), Koma (Japanese top): express our culture. Fire works, Ukiyoe (Japanese drawings), Japanese festival, The Golden Temple: express traditional Japanese things. Tokyo Tower and Sky Tree :very popular places to visit. They've just started its sketch in Groupe Scolaire Carlepont in France.

こちらは多摩市立南鶴牧小学校で完成した壁画です。日本の伝統、文化、いろいろ物が作品に散りばめられています。パートナーであるフランスのGroupe Scolaire Carlepontでは 早速下描きに取りかかっています。

This is a half-completed mural in Kosaka ES in Kanazawa. Their partner is Shumoo’a Al-Marifa in Oman. They exchanged the information of their culture and tradition. Omani friends will paint the mural again after their holiday break.

こちらは金沢市立小坂小学校で完成した壁画です。パートナーはオマーンのShumoo’a Al-Marifaです。お互いの文化、伝統などをフォーラムを通して伝え合いました。オマーンではすでに制作に取りかかっており、休み明けに壁画完成に向け制作を再開します。

This is a half-painted mural in Komaruyama Elementary School in Ishikawa.They express four seasons in Japan. The different colors of the leaves in each part look interesting!

こちらは石川県の七尾市立小丸山小学校で完成しました。キャンバスいっぱいに日本の四季を表現しました。葉っぱの色の変化がとても面白い作品です。ジンバブエの子供達はどんな自然を表現するのでしょう？

At Nuka Elementary School in Ishikawa, as many as three classes join our activity.This is Class1's mural. The partner is Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School. Could you find  their lovely trick, "The Big Pink Heart" in the center? It must be the symbol of friendship!

金沢市立額小学校では6年生3クラスがプロジェクトに参加しています。6年1組の壁画はフィリピンのPhilippine Nikkei Jin Kai International Schoolで後の半分が描かれます。中央に大きなピンクのハートが完成するそうです。

This is Class 2's mural at Nuka Elementary School. After completing the half of it, they explained each part of it in English on the forum. They're looking forward to the work completed by their friends in Jinhua Binhong Primary School in China.

こちらは額小学校6年2組の壁画です。それぞれのモチーフについてはフォーラムで英語を使って説明しました。中国のJinhua Binhong Primary School での完成を楽しみにしています。

This is a half-completed mural by Hikawa Elementary students in Ishikawa. It's already reached College La Fontaine des Prés de Senlis in France. You can see that they were enthusiastic about working on it.

こちらは石川県宝達志水町立樋川小学校で半分完成した壁画です。すでにパートナーであるフランスCollege La Fontaine des Prés de Senlis に到着しました。子どもたちが熱心に取り組んだことがよく分かります。

This half-completed mural is painted by 10-12 aged students of  Sherry English School in Hyougo.They drew many things about their nature, living things and culture to introduce their friends in Malawi. Mitundu Primary School has got the mural and started making a sketch under JICA volunteer's support.

This is another half- painted mural of Anjo-Nanbu ES in Aichi. It's arrived at Gossas Village in Senegal. Both schools will draw a big tree together.The right side of it is a cherry tree. The left side is popular one in Senegal. Smiling characters, delicate cherry blossoms, the earth like jigsaw puzzle and the message......full of their hearts!Their effort will surely move the friends in Senegal. This project is supported by a JICA volunteer. Go for It !!

こちらは安城市立安城南部小学校で完成した壁画です。セネガルのGossas Villageに届きました。力を合わせて一本の大きな木を描きます。右半分は桜の木、左半分はセネガルでポピュラーな木を描きます。登場人物の笑顔、て いねいな花びら、パズルの地球、七夕メッセージ......みんなの気持ちはきっとセネガルに届くはずです! JICA青年海外協力隊のサポートのもと、これから制作に入ります。　応援しましょう!!

This is a half-completed by Heiso Elementary School's 5th graders in Hyogo. They painted 4seasons.Their partner Gang Ping Elementary School in Taiwan has a butterfly garden. Can you see many butterflies in the center?

こちらは加古川市立平荘小学校5年の子どもたちが描いた壁画です。日本の四季を表現しています。台湾のGang Ping Elementary Schoolには蝶公園があります。たくさんの蝶々が見えますか？

This mural is half-painted in Anjo-Nanbu ES in Aichi. They painted Kiyomizudera and Kinkakuji,  famous temples in Kyoto where they went on a school trip. Can you also see the human pyramid (popular performance on sports day) on the rainbow? They had a VC with the students in Rixin Elementary School in Taiwan. It made both schools much closer to each other.

 こちらは安城市立安城南部小学校で完成した壁画です。修学旅行で訪れた清水寺と金閣寺、組み体操の様子が描かれています。Rixin Elementary Schoolとのテレビ会議により、台湾の友達と繋がっている実感が一層強くなりました。

This is a half-completed mural of Ashburton Borough School in New Zealand. They finished it first since New Zealand school year ends in December. Their partner, Ogawa ES's students in Aichi, has started working on the other half of the mural.

こちらの壁画はニュージーランドのAshburton Borough Schoolで半分完成した壁画です。ニュージーランドの学校は2月に始まり12月に学年末を迎えますので先に描きました。愛知県の東浦町立緒川小学校に 届き、子どもたちは一生懸命制作に取り組んでいます。

This is a half-completed mural by all students of Hadanashi Elementary School in Aichi. Can you find all of them on it? It will go far to El Centro Cultural De Nandasmo in Nicaragua. A JICA volunteer is supporting the project there.

こちらは岡崎市立秦梨小学校51人の全校生で制作した壁画です。はるばるニカラグアのEl Centro Cultural De Nandasmoに届けられます。現地ではJICAの青年海外協力隊の協力の下活動を行っております。

This is a half-painted mural in Tomiya HS in Miyagi. They researched their partner country and showed it there. SMA Negeri 10 Malang in Indonesia will paint their image of Japan on the other half. Knowing how you look from a different culture is knowing yourself......Don't you think so?

こちらは宮城県富谷高等学校で完成した壁画です。パートナー国であるインドネシアについて描きました。 SMA Negeri 10 Malanの生徒達は日本について描きます。自分達は異なる文化の中でどのように見えているか？　このプロジェクトだからこそできる学びです。

This is a half-completed mural in Ashiya International SS in Hyogo. You can see Christmas decorations of Mulhouse in France and Luminarie, decoration in Kobe to commemorate the Great Hanshin Earthquake. The students in Lycée des métiers Charles STOESSEL have just started painting it.

こちらは兵庫県立芦屋国際中等教育学校3-Bで描かれた壁画です。フランスミュルーズのクリスマスの様子と神戸ルミナリエの様子が中央で繋がっているようです。Lycée des métiers Charles STOESSELではすでに制作が始まっています。

This is a half-completed mural by13-17 aged students of  Sherry English School in Hyogo. They exchanged  various opinions with their friends in Modernage Public School & College in Pakistan via the forum and a VC. Japanese students are keen to know more about Pakistan and the partner students, e.g. their daily life and their hopes and dreams.

こちらは兵庫県のSherry英語教室中・高生クラスで描かれた壁画です。パキスタンModernage Public School & Collegeとはフォーラムやテレビ会議を通し様々な意見を交換しました。日本の生徒達はパキスタンについてもっと知りたくなったそうです。

This is a half-completed mural in Toriya ES in Ishikawa. Its theme is " Nature and Culture". They researched the theme very hard. They drew the water fall, the lantern festival and the rice field from what they did. It's already arrived at Plearnpasa Language School in Thailand. They will be working on the mural soon.

こちらは石川県中能登町立鳥屋小学校で完成した壁画です。テーマは"自然と文化”。テーマ学習に熱心に取り組み、その中からモチーフを選びました。すでにタイのPlearnpasa Language Schoolに届けられ、現地で制作が始まります。

This is a half-completed mural in Kanazawa-Seiryo Univ,in Ishikawa. Its theme is "Philippines and Japan: Past, Present and Future". They draw some parts about each partner country.Just started painting in Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku.

こちらは金沢星稜大学で完成した壁画です。テーマは"フィリピンと日本：過去・現在・未来”です。お互いの国についてを描く部分があるそうです。Mindanao Kokusai Daigakuni にて描画が進んでいます。

This mural is half-completed by Sanyo High School students in Fukuoka. Their calligraphy performance videos are fabulous! Their commitment to the project will encourage their friends in Thailand. In Setsatian School for the Deaf in Thailand, the students will paint pictures of sign languages related to those Kanji characters.

こちらは福岡県の中村学園三陽高等学校で描かれた壁画です。素晴らしい書道パフォーマンスを見せてくれました。タイのSetsatian School for the Deafでは、漢字の意味に相当する手話の絵を描くそうです。日本側がタイのイメージを表現しました。

This mural is half-painted by Chikushi Jogakuin J-S HS students in Fukuoka. Their part School Lyceum #220 in Azerbaijan was amazed at it and sent thanks.

That's the valuable product of  Japan Art Mile,  "Building Friendships".
この壁画は福岡県筑紫女学園高等学校・中学校で描かれました。パートナー校であるアゼルバイジャンのSchool Lyceum #220 に届き、早速お礼のメッセージが寄せられました。

This mural is half-painted by Heiso Elementary School's 6th graders in Hyogo. They got the Christmas cards from their friends in Gang Ping Elementary School in Taiwan. They sent the New Year's cards to them in return. Theyhave already had two video conferences.

この壁画は加古川市立平荘小学校6年生の子どもたちが描きました。台湾のGang Ping Elementary Schoolの友達からクリスマスカードが届いたのでお返しに年賀状を送りました。両校はすでに2回のテレビ会議を開きました。

This mural is half-completed in Nishi Elementary School in Gumma. They showed  "Culture of Our Country" with seasonal scenes in background. It's already arrived at Brown’s Town Primary School in Jamaica. They will draw about their culture. A JICA volunteer supports their activity.

こちらは群馬県の大泉町立西小学校で完成した壁画です。テーマは”日本の文化を象徴する物”です。四季の移り変わりを背景に日本の文化を描きました。ジャマイカのBrown’s Town Primary SchoolではJICAの青年海外協力隊のサポートにより制作に入ります。

This is a half-completed mural in Senboku High School in Osaka. The jet carrying Japanese culture is about to fly......Where? To their partner, Suksasongkro Chiang Mai School in Thailand? The theme is 'culture & travel'. See their cultures travel around the world!

こちらの壁画は大阪府立泉北高等学校で半分完成しました。中央の大きな飛行機が印象的です。タイのSuksasongkro Chiang Mai Schoolでは'culture & travel'を描くとのことです。二つの文化はどんな旅をするのでしょう？楽しみですね。

This is a half-painted mural of Fujieda-Kita HS in Shizuoka. Its theme is "Local Culture and its Landscape". You can see the changing of Day to Night. It's been already completed at Lincoln M. Alexander Secondary School in Canada and it's on the way to Japan. It'll be displayed at "Hamamatsu Global Fair".

こちらは静岡県立藤枝北高等学校で半分完成した壁画です。テーマは"Local Culture and its Landscape"。カナダのLincoln M. Alexander Secondary School で完成した壁画は2月始めに日本に送り返され、2/14(日)開催のはままつグローバルフェア・アートマイル壁画展で展示される予定です。

This mural shows World Heritage sites, Miyanohara coal and Miike port in Omuta, Fukuoka. Tenryo Elementary School students are really proud of their city and culture. Collège Saint Paul-Rezé students in France will also paint their artistic and cultural heritage of their region.

こちらの壁画は大牟田市立天領小学校で完成しました。世界遺産の三池港と宮原坑が描かれています。フランスのCollège Saint Paul-Rezéは自分達の町の芸術的、文化的遺産を描きます。

This is Class 3's mural at Nuka Elementary School. It's already reached their partner,Ecole Honore de Balzac in France.They said that it gave them happiness and smiles!

こちらは額小学校6年3組の壁画です。すでにフランスのEcole Honore de Balzacに届いています。フランスの学校では荷物を開ける時に大変盛り上がったそうです。

This is a half-completed mural in Josui-kita Elementary School in Aichi. They had a video conference with their friends in Wen Hua Elementary School in Taiwan. Some students and teachers of Wen Hua visited Josui-kita School in January.

こちらは豊田市立浄水北小学校で完成した壁画です。台湾のWen Hua Elementary Schoolとはテレビ会議を行い、1月には　相手校より数名の生徒と先生方が来日して学校訪問をしました。

This is a half-painted mural in Higashiatago JHS in Tokyo. Its theme is  "Festivals". They painted five festivals across Japan. Before drawing, they discussed a lot with SMP Islamic Al Azhar 9 students in Indonesia. This process is crucial for JAM project to build the bond of friendship. "COMMUNICATION　FIRST!!"

こちらの壁画は多摩市立東愛宕中学校で完成しました。テーマは"祭り”で、5種類の祭りが描かれています。パートナーであるインドネシアのSMP Islamic Al Azhar 9とはテーマについてじっくり話合いました。””十分な話し合い”　これこそがジャパンアートマイルの根幹であり、異文化の人々との絆を築く礎となるのです。

This is a half-painted mural in Okazaki Johsei HS in Aichi. They've already had two video conferences with National Hou-Bi Senior HS in Taiwan. They're getting much closer to each other through VC.

こちらは愛知県岡崎城西高等学校で半分完成した壁画です。台湾のNational Hou-Bi Senior HSとはすでに2回テレビ会議をしました。「英語でもっと喋りたい！」という声が聞かれました。
